45 years old, married, has a child. Graduated from the Kharkov University, Physical Faculty, Department of Astronomy in 1980 and entered the staff of the DIP. A specialist in applied and coherent optics, in designing facilities for telescopes, and in speckle interferometry. The author of 12 publications.

· three speckle cameras on the base of image tubes for the Maidanak, Abastumani and Kharkov observatories; · investigation of statistical properties of the atmosphere;

· speckle interferometry of binaries with the 6-meter BTA telescope and with the 1.25-meter telescope in Abastumani;

· observations of gravitational lenses on Maidanak.
