Determination of kinematic parameters of the Galaxy using data of current astrometric catalogues
- Within the framework of Ogorodnikov-Miln model kinematic parameters of the Galaxy were determined from the data of
Tycho-2, UCAC3, PPMXL and XPM catalogues:
- The average values of galactic angular velocities found from data of XPM and HCRF catalogues are 4.11 ± 0.12 mas/yr and 5.17 ± 0.36 mas/yr respectively.
- The average values of Oort constants found from XPM catalogue in the range of magnitudes from 15 to 22 are A = 8.2 ± 0.44 km/s/kps, B = -11.26 ± 0.34 km/s/kps; from data of UCAC3 and PPMXL catalogues are A = 7.17 ± 1.13 km/s/kps, B = -17.32 ± 0.87 km/s/kps and A = 11.36 ± 0.55 km/s/kps, B = -11.48 ± 0.42 km/s/kps respectively.
- The value of the standard solar apex.
- The dependence of galactic angular velocity on the magnitude was found from data of current catalogues in the range
of magnitudes from 10 to 22:
